Very helpful tips, thanks a lot🙂. It would be nice if there was a setting that reflected the shortcuts on the right side. I'm left-handed, and pressing the shortcuts with my left hand really disrupts my flow. I found a workaround by changing a few combinations and putting them on my tablet. For example, I have shift alone on one key to adjust the brush size and I have I for decreasing opacity and O to increase opacity and Shift and I is colour swap. Then it was logical for me to put tool swap on Shift and O instead of Control and/, which I can't do on my German keyboard anyway.

a little off topic but i wish the smudge and smear type brushes were in their own sub category by default. or if the meta tag "smudge" allowed me to use the search feature to find a smudge type brush.

there's just too many brushes in krita, but on the bright side, searching for 'smudge' in the convenient search window has no results.

GUYS !!! If you want to download the Shape Bundle, RIGHT CLICK from the description and "Save the link as" so that the Save as SVG will appear as an option, and you're done ! Instale Krita 5.2.3 en ordenador con windows 10 tengo placa nvidia 1030 y 16 Gb de ram pero no logra abrir, aparece solo el logo "cargando recursos" y se cierra . Alguien sabe que puede ser . Desconecte los antivirus, me desconecte de wifi , no lo resolvi. *help*

I want to know as to how can i change gradient colors in the fill layer?? When I add a fill layer with gradient I add the color from the gradient pop up but when i exit that pop up or dialogue box I find it difficult to back to the gradient editor in the fill layer?? Can u pinpoint where am i going wrong?? Normally in any software one would change the gradient colors from the foreground/background selector!!!

Can we have an update that improve animation making in Krita? Because I also use Krita as an animation tool but I think in the latest update animation in Krita is a bit bug and broken. I know the main intention of Krita is not animation but can you help and make it at least stable?

I don't want to sound ungrateful. I love Krita, I can't count how many programs I tested and it was unrivaled both on PC and now on Android., but I wonder from a technical perspective how complicated it would be to, for example, introduce a black and white preview option in Overview, to draw in color but preview see in black and white at the same time? Or in animation scrolling backgrounds? Or possibility of changing the order of brushes. Do we have an IT specialist in the room? I'm not smart enough to program, but I'm a little fascinated by it.

Hello, each time i click on export i get a huge list of errors and "code -22" is the one most listed. Please what can i do to resolve this problem?

just a problem, but I didn't understand the size part. when i select the size option, my brush becomes so small that I can't see it on the art board and it does not make small to large stroke no matter what I select. Rest all the brush types and settings work perfectly fine. Please help me.......

I don't have the ink bundles. I just downloaded Krita 5.2.3 2 days ago. Are these bundles still around, if so, how do I get them in the latest version?

Hello, someone might have already known this, but I wanted to post it here just let others know. You can make a shape in Krita and import the image as a png into Inkscape. Once in inkscape go to path--trace path, you'll have to press "update" in the editing box if you don't see your image and then hit "apply". Once that is done you can go ahead and make your image into a symbol and save as shown in the video.

I'm unable to see all of the brushes in krita after importing. Please Help!!

These brushes "Sketch v2" are great! I was quite happy with Krita standard brushes, but... They all are kinda too sharp for my sloppy hands, so I always wanted something more soft, for loose scribble sketching. And this is right what I wanted. Textured, soft, tilting, pressure sensitive... On textured canvas it feels so AMAZING! Much love to all Krita team❤ Also much thanks for not just technical tutorials, but also basic art stuff like gesture drawing!

Krita is nice but it is completely useless in linux because barrel rotation doesn't work in linux

I'm wondering what tablet should I buy for start - to connect it by usb to my PC. I look for cheap/medium price drawing thingy - newer done this before. I need it for thumbnail creation and drawings for my NL and drawings.

I was frustrated in the beginning because of the deep learning curve it had, but now 5+ years later, it's everything to me in digital art.
